Appointment of international committee member

I am very pleased to announce that we have appointed Marco Nannini, whose background details are below, to be the international member of the IACH Committee. He has great energy, ideas and boundless enthusiasm which I know will contribute a lot to the Association.

“Marco Nannini is the organiser of the Global Solo Challenge 2023. After a career in banking in the City of London he decided to take part in the Global Ocean Race 2011/2012 taking second place overall. A Cape Horner, he became sailor of the year in Italy in 2012 and was awarded a Medal of Merit by the Presidency of the Italian Senate. His sailing experience includes the OSTAR, Round Britain & Ireland Race and Route du Rhum.”

I welcome him on your behalf and look forward to using his skills and knowledge to enhance the exposure of the IACH within the international yachting community. Welcome aboard Marco!
